* Impressions *
Stormy with decent swell at the wharf this morning.  The net tow was once again mostly detritus/debris, but the phytoplankton biomass was similar to last week.  The phytoplankton assemblage continues to be a mix of diatoms and dinoflagellates with Chaetoceros and Akashiwo being the most abundant.  Pseudo-nitzschia were seriata size, but no P. australis, P. multiseries, or Alexandirum were detected in the probed cell counts.
