* Quick HAB Observations *
– Pseudo-nitzschia: Common
– Alexandrium: None
– Dinophysis: None
– Margalefidinium: Rare
* Impressions *
Sunny and cool at the wharf this morning and water visibility was >10ft. Detritus/debris in the net tow decreased this week and phytoplankton biomass increased. The assemblage remains mostly diatoms and Chaetoceros was the most abundant. Pseudo-nitzschia were seriata size. There were no P. australis (or Alexandrium), but P. multiseries were detected this week.
