* Impressions *
Cool and sunny at the wharf this morning. Net tow was once again mostly detritus/debris this week. Phytoplankton biomass and diversity decreased and were difficult to find among all the junk. Dinoflagellates remained the dominant group with Prorocentrum as the most abundant. No Pseudo-nitzschia and Alexandrium counts decreased.

* Impressions *
The morning was a crisp, breezy, sunny morning. The sky was filled with a thin sheet of clouds. The surface of the water had a little debris. The water this week was the same blue color as last week with a visibility of 6.5m. Chlorophyll significantly decreased from last week. Dinoflagellates dominated the water column. Ceratium and Prorocentrum were common. Dinophysis, Protoperidinium, and Coscinodiscus were present. The HAB species that were observed in the water this morning included Pseudo-nitzschia, and Dinophysis.
