Overcast and windy at the wharf this morning. Phytoplankton biomass and diversity decreased dramatically this week and the net tow was mostly detritus/debris. The assemblage was mostly dinoflagellates and Prorocentrum was the most abundant. No Pseudo-nitzschia were observed and Alexandrium counts decreased an order of magnitude.
