Marine layer hanging over the wharf this morning. Water was calm, clear, and warm. Phytoplankton biomass and diversity decreased dramatically from last week. Net tow remains mostly dinoflagellates and Akashiwo were still the most abundant. A few single Alexandrium cells were observed in the net tow, but none were detected in the probed counts. No Pseudo-nitzschia were seen this week.
