– Alexandrium: Rare
– Dinophysis: Rare
– Margalefidinium: None

Another cool and sunny morning at the wharf. Dramatic decrease in detritus/debris this week and phytoplankton biomass was about the same. The assemblage remains mostly diatoms, but dinoflagellate numbers are on increasing. Chaetoceros and an unknown flagellate were the most abundant. Pseudo-nitzschia were seriata size and only P. australis were detected in the probed counts.

The wharf this morning the sun was shining bright behind a layer of fog and haze. There was a slight breeze. Many seabirds were on the surface of the water. The surface of the water had rolling waves. The water this week was a mild green. Diatoms dominated the water column. Chaetoceros, Pseudo-nitzschia, and Skeletonema were common in the water. Akashiwo, Dinophysis, and Ceratium were present. The HAB species that were observed in the water this morning included Pseudo-nitzschia, Alexandrium, Dinophysis and Akashiwo sanguinea.
