* Impressions *
Another sunny and cool morning at the wharf.  The net tow was similar to last week, mostly dinoflagellates and mostly Prorocentrum, but overall phytoplankton biomass decreased.  Pseudo-nitzschia were seriata-size and P. australis were seen in the probed counts.  Alexandrium cell concentration decreased by half this week.

* Impressions *
This morning the wharf was chilly with a slight breeze. The sky was clear and sunny. There was lots of wave action on the surface. Overall, there was not a lot of human activity this morning. The water this week was bluer than last week with a visibility of 6.5 m. Chlorophyll decreased from last week. Dinoflagellates dominated the water column. Prorocentrum was abundant. Akashiwo was common. Chaetoceros and Pseudo-nitzschia were present in the water. The HAB species that were observed in the water this morning included Pseudo-nitzschia, Alexandrium, Dinophysis and Akashiwo sanguinea.
