Sunny and cool at the wharf this morning. Despite the warmer weather last week/end, the water temp dropped almost 1C from last week. Net tow remains mostly dinoflagellates and there was a notable increase in phytoplankton biomass. The assemblage shifted slightly with Prorocentrum being the most abundant. Pseudo-nitzschia were delicatissima-size and Alexandrium counts decreased slightly from last week.
